Spa Birthday Party

After throwing a Spa Party for twelve 8 & 9 year old girls, Mommy needs a trip to the Spa! But the Birthday Girl was very happy and her friends proclaimed it “awesome” so it was most definitely worth every bit.  A “few” pictures to share with you all~

The international sign that there’s a birthday in the Felt So Cute Household thanks to a very clever idea from another blogger.

At the birthday girl’s request, we had a “healthy spa” menu of Deviled Eggs, Finger Sandwiches {cut with cookie cutters because Big & Little Cuties believe everything tastes better in a pretty shape!}, Strawberry & Banana Smoothies, Water & Rainbow Fruit Kabobs.  Dessert was Cupcakes & Chocolate Covered Marshmallows on Sticks with Sprinkles!

I hired a wonderful team of women called the Glam Girls who helped with all the manicures, pedicures, facials & massages.  They are such fun and I couldn’t have done it without them!  Here’s Big Cutie getting her facial and massage!

And here’s Little Cutie experiencing cucumbers on her eyes for the first time!

Then came manis & pedis!

While the girls were waiting for their treatments, they made bracelets and custom bath salts.  They were too cute smelling the different scent options I had and really contemplating whether they were a lavender or cucumber kind of gal.

Once everyone finished their sessions in the spa and had lunch it was time for sweets and blowing out her candle! {recognize her shirt from here?}

This was such a fun party to do and I’m so glad she chose her theme so far in advance.  I was able to take advantage of one of those Old Navy stuff a bag sales and bought a huge assortment of flip flops on clearance and double-discount in turquoise and each girl got a pair for her pedicure and to wear home.  For their facial they each were given a singed satin turquoise flower on an elastic headband to help hold their hair back {we happened to have our block party that evening and was fun to see a bunch of girls wearing them later that night!}.  Their goody bags also had a little washcloth tied up in some aqua ric rac, lip gloss {with labels that said Big Cutie’s Spa Gloss} and a mini manicure set.

So much fun.  Only 80 more days until Little Cutie’s birthday!

    Looks like the girls had a blast. What a fun idea for a birthday party. Something tells me I won’t get away with this theme for either of my boys’ birthday parties! I may have to try this with my friends instead. Loved this idea!!!

    Such a great idea!! My daughter is only 15 months old, but I cannot wait until she wants to do something like this!! It’s totally up my alley! Infact… I have a niece turning 9 in a few months… maybe I’ll have to have a talk with her mother!!
